Rolex
Datejust 1630 Automatic - Full yellow gold and steel, sunburst silver dial, applied stick markers, yellow gold fluted bezel, sapphire glass, chronometer certified automatic movement (COSC), caliber 1570. The Rolex 1630 is a rare and little-known model, produced in very limited quantities during the 1970s. It stands out for its angular, integrated design, identical to that of the Oysterquartz models, although it is powered by an automatic movement (caliber 1570). Anticipating the aesthetic of the Oysterquartz even before its official release, the 1630 represents a unique transitional piece in Rolex's history.
